Our Corporate Affairs team is seeking a Senior Internal Communications Advisor with a strong communications background and advanced skills in corporate and digital communications. This is an exciting opportunity to shape high-impact communications that educate engage and inspire action across the Department.

In this role you will lead the design and delivery of internal corporate communications working closely with policy program and project teams to provide trusted advice and ensure messaging is clear consistent and effective. You will create and deliver content across a variety of internal digital channels including EDMs intranet updates leadership messages news stories social-style posts for employee engagement and video scripts.

You will also help build the Departments digital capability providing training guidance and ongoing support for internal channels. This role offers the chance to manage multiple internal clients coordinate communications campaigns and ensure all content is accurate accessible and user-focused. If you enjoy collaborating with stakeholders delivering impactful communications and making a real difference this is the role for you.

About You
Success in this role depends on your ability to build strong trusted relationships with business units and senior executives and to collaborate effectively across the organisation. You will lead the design and delivery of corporate communications coordinating content and campaigns from planning through to evaluation using insights and reporting to drive engagement understanding and impact.

We are seeking a confident and experienced communications professional with a strong background in corporate communications advanced skills in writing digital content and stakeholder engagement. You thrive in a fast-paced environment enjoy partnering with stakeholders and are motivated by delivering communications that make a real difference across the organisation.

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in communications or other related discipline and/or relevant equivalent experience.
