We are now seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist with construction industry experience to join our this varied and hands-on role you will support recruitment payroll onboarding HR administration and day-to-day office operations. Youll play a vital part in supporting our people and strengthening our workplace culture helping us attract engage and retain top talent across the business.

About the Role

Your initial responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment: advertising screening interviewing reference checks and offers.
  • Build and maintain a talent pool to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding: documentation IT access uniforms tools and inductions.
  • Maintain HR records assist with performance reviews and coordinate training programs.
  • Process payroll timesheets and superannuation across all entities.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee and manager queries escalating as needed.
  • Contribute to workplace culture initiatives and a positive employee experience.
  • Provide general business support: answering phones assisting team members raising purchase orders and completing ad hoc tasks.

About You

  • Previous recruitment experience in the construction industry is essential.
  • Proven experience in payroll and HR administration.
  • Strong organisational multitasking and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn new systems.
  • Positive proactive and committed to creating a great employee experience.
