Sephora SEAs omni channel business spans over 8 countries (Australia India Indonesia Malaysia New Zealand the Philippines Singapore and Thailand) with 100 stores and boasts some global flagships such as ION and Raffles City in Singapore F88 in Kuala Lumpur and Pitt Street in Sydney. Sephora SEA is experiencing rapid growth in the region with new store openings and business channels (i.e. Click and collect and marketplace).

Human Resources Advisor Sephora Australia

As a HR Advisor you will work closely with retail stakeholders in providing generalist HR support across the HR life cycle.

You will play an active role in collaborating with other members of the HR team to provide well rounded pragmatic HR solutions to Store Management Teams and District Manager in your allocated region.

You will play the role of a trusted advisor and be the first point of contact for HR queries.

The role will be tasked to support people focused projects with the purpose to continuously improve the employee experience for our teams in Australia.


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Working closely with the Head of HR and members of the Leadership team on people related matters
  • Provide sound well rounded HR advice to the employee population of the allocated region
  • Interpret and apply policy including the drafting of policies
  • Champion the use of HRIS system
  • First point of call for employee related queries for given departments
  • Drive employee communication through appropriate platforms
  • Drive employee engagement and well-being initiatives
  • Ensuring employee-related data is accurate and maintained
  • Assisting in the delivery and coordination of People focused initiatives
  • Improving the employee experience in process policies and people focused initiatives
  • Support the Head of HR in the delivery and implementation of HR projects
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Payroll backup when required
  • Responsible for people reporting across our internal systems
  • Run engagement surveys & initiatives

We would love to hear from you if you are/have

  • 3-5 years of HR generalist experience
  • Proficient in HRIS data management and reporting systems
  • Sound knowledge in Fair Work Act and WHS
  • Experienced working in similar industries fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Able to manage multiple priorities & work towards deadlines
  • Passionate about the field of HR curious about retail
