Job Description:	Responsibilities 10 years of experience in automotive seating trim cover (Cloth and Leather) design and development Thorough knowledge of engineering design & development concepts of automotive complete Seating system Very good proficiency in one of the 2D pattern softwares Mastertrim Lectra Optitex and Gerber Experience in design of Seat covers for back Cushion and Headrest Knowledge of Textiles and Leather including warp and Weft elongation propoerties Hide grades and Knit types Relevant experience in defining Trim attachment by using J-clip Hoggering wires etc and Trench design Knowledge and understanding of Sewing technology tread specifications and types of Seams Prepare and maintain engineering release and change documentation Ability to perform Complete Seat packaging study of seating components Working knowledge of regulatory and certification requirements for seating system (FMVSS regulations) Maintain and develop Design Validation Plans (DVP) and Design Failure Mode Analysis (DFMEA)
