Qualifications & Experience:

Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer or Information Science Engineering IT or a related field.
Experience:
57 years of experience in full-stack development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong experience in Python and PySpark (minimum 6 years).
Good understanding of JavaScript SQL and MySQL.
Experience with Big Data technologies data analysis and data modeling.
Hands-on experience with Skywise Platform tools (Contour Code-Workbook Slate Code Repo Ontology definitions).
Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
Strong background in data warehousing and data pipelines.
Proficiency in AWS services (Lambda S3 EC2 RDS DynamoDB VPC IAM etc.).
Working knowledge of Cloud Foundry and DevOps tools (Git Jenkins SonarQube CI/CD).
Familiarity with front-end technologies like React AngularJS HTML5 and JavaScript.
Experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs.
Understanding of IT security data governance and privacy best practices.
Experience integrating data from various sources and applications.
Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong business analysis skills: communication documentation and requirement gathering.
Agile experience (Scrum SAFe Kanban).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Java 7 Spring Boot Hibernate.
Familiarity with tools like Maven Artifactory Splunk OpenSearch Ansible.
Understanding of airline and MRO operations.
Knowledge of French is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with product and data teams to understand requirements.
Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
Design and build scalable data systems and pipelines.
Implement and manage data warehousing solutions.
Apply data modeling techniques to improve performance and usability.
Design end-to-end system architecture for data workflows.
Perform complex data analysis to help guide business decisions.
Translate business needs into technical solutions.
Develop and deploy workflows apps and dashboards on the Skywise platform.
Collaborate with airline customers and internal teams to gather pain points and functional needs.
Recommend ways to improve data quality governance and reliability.
Maintain a structured repository of solutions for reuse.
Promote best practices in data engineering using Skywise tools and ontologies.
Design develop test and maintain secure reliable web applications.
Automate tests (unit functional performance security).
Use CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across environments.
Mentor and support other developers in the team.
Follow compliance and internal policies to protect company data and reputation.
