As a Sessional Youth Workerat Just42 you will help to plan and run our new weekly youth club in Rendlesham during term times. You will work alongside our Lead Sessional Youth Worker to run the club along with a volunteer.
The club will run on Monday evenings. The junior club runs from 3.15 - 5pm on Monday afternoons so the hours of work will be from 3 - 5.30pm.
You will:
- help with general youth work such as building purposeful relationships planning and facilitating activities with and young people
- help set up and get ready for club sessions and pack away at the end of the sessions.
You will need:
- A satisfactory DBS (organised by us)
- Youth work experience preferably in a youth club setting.
- A desire to work with and support local young people.
- Your own transport to get to and from Rendlesham is essential.

We are running 2 new clubs in Rendlesham the junior club is for young people in year 6 we have a lively group of about 10 young people attending the club on a regular basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in one of Just42s rural youth clubs as a session worker. We will offer support and training in safeguarding first aid and food hygiene along with great youth work experience within a professional team. You will become part of a dynamic team of youth workers providing youth clubs in 5 locations around Woodbridge. There might be an opportunity to work at other clubs on an occasional basis when others in the team are away or unwell and we need staff cover.
