About the role

Fixed-term to January 2027 Full-time Melbourne CBD (Hybrid)

This role is responsible for providing project oversight and high-level administrative support across several key education initiatives. The position will support the planning delivery and reporting of strategic projects including the Supervisor Development Program Entrustable Professional Activities (EPA) Review and the Rehabilitation Project.

Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders the Project Officer will coordinate project activities track progress against timelines and budgets and support the committees and working groups that govern these projects. The role also ensures projects are delivered in line with the requirements of the Australian Medical Council (AMC).

The successful candidate will build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to the delivery of high-quality compliant and impactful education projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans and deliverables in consultation with the Senior Manager and Program Development Manager Training Development and Assessment and other relevant staff.
  • Consult and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support successful project outcomes including the development of education projects processes and alternative training models.
  • Prepare presentations briefing papers and advice for relevant Committees Working Parties/Groups and the Board in relation to project developments.
  • Monitor project timelines budgets and reporting requirements to ensure compliance with AMC conditions.
  • Provide high-level administrative and coordination support to project committees and working groups.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in training and development education healthcare or background and experience in research and project management with demonstrated experience in planning analysis project methodology implementation evaluation and reporting.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a collaborative consultative and Strong professional communication style when working with Fellows College staff committee chairs and members and external agencies.
  • A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality support and service with the ability to meet requirements and exceed stakeholder expectations.
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship or valid Australian work rights.

  • $80000 to $94000 Super 12% Salary Packaging (up to $15899 for general living expenses and up to $2650 for meal entertainment) commensurate with skills and experience.
