Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated part-time Veterinary Assistant to support our doctors and technicians in delivering excellent patient care. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and thrives in a team-oriented medical setting.
Responsibilities
Assist during exams and procedures
Safely restrain patients according to clinic protocols
Prepare exam rooms treatment areas and supplies
Clean and maintain medical equipment and clinical spaces
Provide basic patient care including monitoring and comfort care
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Veterinary assistant or animal handling experience preferred
Willingness to learn and follow established protocols
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
