Are you an experienced Measurement Technician Electrician looking for a new challenge In this position you will be responsible for the required to safely operate the meter buildings to ensure the safety and reliability of the station. This is a maintenance and operations position based in Prince George BC.

What you will do:

  • Complete the Operator Qualifications Training program for each meter building within your region as required

  • Operate and maintain all facility equipment at station(s) throughout the region as required.

  • Complete all required safety operations and maintenance training.

  • Perform maintenance/operations activities

  • Create/review procedures.

  • Be capable of working all Unifor 4960 shifts.

Who you are:

You have the following qualifications and skills:

Required:

  • Journeyperson Electrician

  • Measurement experience.

  • Valid drivers license.

  • Undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to 5-year driving record criminal check and drug testing. (applicable to successful external candidates only)

  • 3-5 years related work experience.

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred:

  • Dual ticketed Journeyperson ElectricianInstrument Mechanic and/or Millwright in addition would be considered an asset.

  • Experience working with pneumatic controls and programmable controllers.

  • Ability to multi-task and change duties quickly.

  • Demonstrated self-starter.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Able to carry out daily duties with minimal supervision and support.

  • Experience working in the oil & gas industry.
