Associate, Mid-Level, or Senior Numerical Control Programmer (Composites)

Company:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking an Associate Mid-Level or Senior Numerical Control Programmer to join our team in North Charleston South Carolina.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop revise and verify 3 and 5 axis Machine Control Data (MCD) and geometry for primarily composite detail parts and assemblies with some foam and aluminum.

• Provide machine operator instructions and documentation for automated or numerically controlled equipment per established processes

• Assist in numerous tasks related to numerical controlled manufacturing including working as part of a team with Process Engineers NC Programmers Manufacturing Engineers Equipment & Tool Engineering equipment suppliers Design Engineers Boeing Research & Technology Engineers Quality Engineers Information Technology Industrial Engineers and operations personnel

• Provides numerical control machining and programming technical experience.

• Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.

• Ability to travel domestically to Everett WA

• This position is for first shift and 100% onsite

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• Associates degree from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry

• 3 years experience in Engineering and Manufacturing environment

• Experience in model integration using REDARS CATIA V5 ENOVIA and/or PSDS

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with airplane interior products designed and produced at the Interior Responsibility Center (IRC)

• Some knowledge or experience with MasterCam and/or Vericut

• Familiar with Visual Basic Microsoft Excel Macros or other scripting programs
