Master Planner

RoleSummary:The Master Planner will convert the S&OP (Short mid long term) monthly plan into a weeklyscheduleto facilitate material requirementsandwillact as themain liaisonbetweencorporate Production PlanningSales andOperations.They will providethe Master Planning Schedule for thecategory aligned with the S&OPguidetheraw material requirements for filling production schedulesand establish delivery times.

Our ideal candidate will work at the Corporate Office in Greeley CO but we are open to candidates who would work in Council Bluffs IA Elkhart IN and/or Ottumwa IA.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct input to setting master production planning metrics targets
Provide necessary input to supply planner to support integrated business planning
Maintain data relevant to master production planning activities including planning calendars material data and location
Analyze plant capacity and production requisition data to resolve manufacturing plans and required sources
Analyze data and make recommendations on increasing/decreasing inventory targets
Advise Operations Manager of any potential issues
Analyze variances between actual budget and constrained forecasts
Establish maintain report and analyze trends for key performance indicators for forecast accuracy demand variability and inventory
Analyzes and revises production plans and provides appropriate delivery dates as required
Support the S&OP director on analysis reports from SAP/IBP
Analyzes and reports on actual customer demand trends and forecasts and adjusts capacity plans accordingly. Report the deviations to Sales Team and align actions plans with Operations Customer Service and Sales.
Develop and maintain relationships with staff and all management
Perform other duties as assigned

Skills andQualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chainor Business Administration
Minimum 3 years experience asaPlanner
APICS certification is a plus
ExcelPowerPoint SAP SAP/IBP
Analytical skills detail orientated
Knowledge of perishable food manufacturing
Excellent communication skills both verbally and technology applied
Must be able to accept change and understanding of dealing with a perishable product
Very fast paced environment that requires multi-tasking at any given time
Excellent conflict resolution skills
Must have a demonstrable record of delivery through being a team player
Food Manufacturing Operations environment
Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
As a salaried position with the company you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities to attend Company events or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the followingcompensation and benefits:

Benefits: Vision Medical and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
Paid Time Off: sick leave vacation and 6 company observed holidays;
401(k):company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
Base salaryrange of$80000-$100000;
Incentive Pay:This position is eligible to participate in the Companys annual bonus plan the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
