Job Summary

Job Title: Steel Fabricator
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule: Monday Friday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM (Overtime 6:00 AM 4:30 PM; some Saturdays required)

Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled Steel Fabricators to join our production team. This role involves fabricating and assembling high-quality steel components per customer specifications participating in all steel fabrication processes and ensuring products meet internal and customer standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented safety-conscious and ready to contribute to a fast-paced collaborative manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Review work orders build sequences specifications and shop drawings to understand project requirements
Layout cut fit-up MIG weld drill tap and fabricate steel bases structures reservoirs and hangers
Assemble components as part of overall projects and perform rework or repairs as needed
Ensure all welds are complete and meet quality standards
Maintain accurate documentation including inspection records MTRs and red-lined drawings
Record hours worked for each production process in manufacturing software
Manage material control including requisitioning stocking and maintaining inventory
Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and product quality
Follow safety policies OSHA regulations and company guidelines
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Required Qualifications:

MIG welding experience
Ability to pass a welding test
Ability to obtain a Forklift License
Ability to obtain a Crane Operator License
Proficiency in basic math and reading a tape measure

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in steel fabrication in manufacturing or industrial environments
Familiarity with ISO quality standards and safety compliance
