Requirements
Lead the finance department overseeing financial operations accounting processes and the finance team.
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the companys goals.
Manage the preparation of all financial reporting including monthly financial statements budget variance analysis and year-end financial reports.
Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
Work closely with senior management to develop and control the companys annual budget.
Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team.
Manage cash flow and forecasting develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism.
Establish and develop relations with senior management external partners and stakeholders.
Analyze and manage risk including credit market liquidity and operational risks.
Lead financial planning and analysis efforts offering insights and financial advice that will allow the company to make informed business decisions.
Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; a Masters degree or professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA ACCA CIMA) is highly preferred.
Minimum of 6 years of financial management experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
Proven experience in financial planning and analysis with previous experience overseeing finance accounting budgeting control and reporting.
Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
A solid understanding of financial software and systems.
Ability to strategize and solve problems.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
