Global Head of Business Development

Introduction

A multinational financial services company specializing in online trading is seeking a strategic and high-impact Global Head of Business Development to lead their expansion from Limassol Cyprus. This senior leadership role focuses on the strategic growth of Introducing Broker (IB) networks and high-value partnerships across international markets. Reporting directly to the CMO you will drive revenue expansion oversee global business development teams and act as a primary representative of the organization on the global stage.

Your Role

  • Strategy & Execution: Define and execute the global business development strategy with a core focus on IB acquisition retention and strategic revenue growth.
  • Network Expansion: Identify engage and manage long-term relationships with high-value Introducing Brokers across multiple international regions.
  • Negotiation & Onboarding: Lead the negotiation of partnership contracts and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new strategic partners.
  • Performance Management: Establish and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement in partner engagement and revenue generation.
  • Global Representation: Represent the company at major industry events conferences and high-level client meetings worldwide.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a high-performing international team of business development and IB management professionals.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Provide regular strategic reporting to the CMO and ensure all partnership activities maintain strict compliance with global regulatory requirements.

Your Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Finance Economics Business or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in business development or IB management within the financial services fintech or brokerage sectors.
  • Linguistic Skills: Native or fluent proficiency in English (C1); additional languages are highly advantageous for regional market expansion.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of trading platforms and financial markets including FX CFDs and derivatives.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of managing and scaling regional or international business development teams.
  • Attributes: Strategic and analytical mindset with exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Mobility: Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently for international events and client meetings.
  • Legal: Must be an EU national (the company cannot provide sponsorship for work permits).
