TheFoodBankoftheRockiesDriver1Non-CDLwillbeinvolvedwithmanydrivingassignments suchasPartner Agency orders Donor pickups Food Drive pickups Grocery Rescue routes The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)/Everyday Eats routes and occasionally Mobile Pantry Driver 1 Non-CDL is responsible for pickup and delivery of food products supplies and materials to various sites; as well as loading and unloading products from trucks. Driving vans food trucks and 26 Box Trucks less than 26000lbs role regularly interacts with volunteers partner agencies donors and the general public.

Primary Responsibilities:

Pickupdonatedfoodproductsfromfooddrivesanddonorsanddeliverthemtoagencies
Unloadincomingproductsaswellasloadthetruckwithoutboundfoodproductsaccordingtodelivery specifications and within Food Bank of the Rockies policies
Maintainanorganizedcleanandsanitizedcabandcargoareaandupkeepfoodhandlingequipment.
ResponsibleforperformingdailyvehicleinspectionsandothervehicleschedulesaccordingtoDOT regulations
Performlightvehiclemaintenancetasks(fluidlevelstiremaintenanceandsanitation)
Maintainfoodindustrystandardsandcertificationforproperproducthandlingstorageanddistributionin accordance with Food Bank of the Rockies and Feeding America standards
Assistincommunicatingwithandmaintainingcongenialrelationshipswithdonorsagenciesand volunteers
Maintainreceiptsinvoicesandotherrequiredpaperworkforeachsite
Coverroutesforotherdriverswhenneeded
Onoccasionassistswithwarehouseduties;record-keepingwasteinventorycountssanitation equipment building and grounds maintenance as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 21 years of age required

Bilingual(Spanish)aplus

Expected Hours of Work:

Thisroleisconsideredfull-timeworkingapproximately40hoursperweekandiseligibleforovertimeforanyhours workedover40inaworkweek. WorkscheduleisfromMondaytoFriday 6:00am2:30pm mayoccasionallywork evenings and Saturdays. Local travel only no overnight trips are required. Travel is primarily local during the business day.
