FOIA Junior Analyst
Crowned Grace International is recruiting an FIOA Junior Analyst with experience in the Freedom of Information Act (FIOA). The FIOA Junior Analyst supports FOIA request processing by conducting initial reviews performing searches drafting response materials and applying exemptions under supervision. Your contribution helps ensure workflow efficiency accuracy and timely completion making a meaningful impact on transparency efforts.
Education/Experience:
- Must have a BA/BS and one (1) year of general experience; or five (5) years of general experience. General experience is experience gained in an office setting.
The Junior Analyst must be able to complete the following:
- Assist with tracking metrics within the privacy compliance artifact tracking system
- Draft routine correspondence such as acknowledgment letters and status updates
- Assist in conducting searches for records responsive to a request across various Secure Release.
- Verify that a request is complete and communicate with the requester if additional information is needed.
- Create and maintain organized case files for each request both electronically and in hard copy databases and systems. Convert hard copies of documents into electronic formats for processing.
- Perform initial record reviews to identify potentially responsive information for review by senior analysts. Enter data accurately into FOIA tracking databases to ensure records are up to date. Provide general office support including scanning printing and file organization (PIA) Privacy Act Statements System of Records Notices (SORN) and information-sharing agreements.
- Review and analyze Privacy Threshold Analyses (PTA) Privacy Impact Assessments
A successful background check and drug screen is required
