What youll do
As a KONE Doors Business Apprentice Engineer youll gain real practical experience including:
Hands-on learning: Shadowing and working alongside experienced engineers on-site
Maintenance & installation: Supporting the maintenance repairs or installation of industrial and pedestrian doors gates and barriers
Servicing & fault finding: Learning how to diagnose and resolve technical issues
Customer interaction: Working professionally with customers and site contacts
No two days are the same and every day youll be learning something new.
Practical information
Working Week: Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Friday 8:00 am - 3:30 pm.
Hours of work: 37 per week.
Duration: 42 months.
Start date: 7th of September 2026.
Level and qualification: Level 3 MOET Apprenticeship standard NOCN NVQ2 DHF Level 2 Award ADSA - EN16005 ADSA - EN17352
Salary: starting at 17534.02 with annual increases subject to performance.
Training is workbased primarily at customer sites so you must be prepared to travel.
Travel to and from customer sites takes place outside standard working hours.
Locations
We offer apprenticeships in South London Bristol Nottingham Warrington Scotland.
Who can apply
Age: 16 on the apprenticeship start date (7 September 2026)
Education: 5 GCSEs (A-C or 4 to 9) including Maths English and Science (or equivalent).
