Job Summary
What success looks like in this role:
Manages the efforts of subordinate leaders and associates.
Works with product and business leaders to understand requirements and define technical architectures to solve complex business and technical problems.
Works with software and other engineers and with relevant project / program stakeholders on maintaining solution architecture roadmap and vision.
Supports / owns resolution of critical support issues.
Drives execution of solution development through allocation and management of resources.
Drives decision-making processes to consensus and ensures that steps are taken to implement the solution roadmap.
Contributes to strategy development for software application platform and infrastructure development and quality assurance.
Defines and monitors team success metrics.
Implements organization level initiatives and tasks within the team.

You will be successful in this role if you have:
Software Development
Strong hands-on background in enterprise application development preferably using Python or .
Experience with API-first and microservices architectures.
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools (e.g. GitOps CI/CD pipelines IaC).
AI/ML Integration
Exposure to AI/ML model integration into applications (via REST APIs or native SDKs).
Familiarity with AI frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch) and platforms like AWS SageMaker Azure ML or Google Vertex AI
Security
Strong understanding of application security principles and secure SDLC practices.
Experience with OAuth2 OpenID Connect SSO MFA and zero-trust security models.
Familiarity with DevSecOps cloud security (CSPM CNAPP) and compliance standards like ISO 27001 SOC 2 HIPAA or GDPR.
Leadership & Delivery Skills
Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams including architects developers and DevOps engineers.
Strong track record of delivering complex cloud-based software solutions on time and within budget.
Ability to translate business needs into technical architectures and roadmaps.
Experience with RFP/RFI responses client solutioning and pre-sales support.
Strategic & Business Acumen
Experience building technical strategy and solution blueprints aligned to business objectives.
Familiarity with industry verticals (e.g. BFSI healthcare manufacturing) and their digital transformation challenges.
Understanding of cost modeling ROI calculation and TCO optimization in cloud transformation programs.
Soft Skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to mentor and grow engineering teams.
Adept at navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex environments.
Comfortable presenting to C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
