Job Summary

Job Title: Automation Tester

Location: Porto Portugal

Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Cypress Selenium or Playwright
Conduct security testing with focus on OAuth 2.0 and OIDC authentication and authorization flows
Design execute and maintain comprehensive test strategies covering API frontend and backend applications
Perform performance testing using K6 or JMeter analyzing results and identifying bottlenecks
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI to ensure continuous quality validation
Collaborate with development teams to identify defects ensure proper resolution and improve overall software quality
Produce clear documentation of test cases test results and quality metrics communicating effectively in English when required
Implement functional regression integration and end-to-end (E2E) testing processes

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field
3 years of experience in software testing (API frontend and backend)
2 years of experience with test automation using Cypress Selenium or Playwright
Experience in performance testing with tools such as K6 or JMeter
Experience in security testing particularly with OAuth 2.0 and OIDC
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines preferably using GitLab CI
Solid understanding of functional regression integration end-to-end (E2E) and security testing methodologies
Level B2 English both written and spoken
