Job Summary
Sproxil is seeking a Business Innovation Lead to identify design and execute new business opportunities that leverage Sproxils technology data and market presence. This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial leader who has built or scaled startups drove innovation in the software or information technology business space and is driven by purpose impact and growth.
The successful candidate will move fluidly between strategy and execution turning ideas into pilots pilots into products and products into scalable business lines or impact initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Innovation & New Venture Development
- Identify new business opportunities aligned with Sproxils mission technology and market footprint.
- Conceptualize validate and launch new products services or business models.
- Lead ideation from problem discovery through MVP pilot and scale.
- Test assumptions quickly using lean startup principles.
Product & Technology Collaboration
- Work closely with product engineering and data teams to translate ideas into viable tech solutions.
- Contribute to product roadmap discussions from a business and market perspective.
- Ensure innovations are commercially viable scalable and user-centric.
Entrepreneurial Execution
- Own end-to-end execution of innovation initiatives including business cases pilots and go-to-market plans.
- Build and manage cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes.
- Operate with founder-level accountability for results.
Market Partnerships & Ecosystem
- dentify and build strategic partnerships with startups corporates regulators NGOs and ecosystem players.
- Engage external stakeholders to support pilots funding or scale.
- Represent Sproxil in innovation forums pitch sessions and strategic discussions.
Impact Purpose & ESG Alignment
- Ensure innovation initiatives align with Sproxils mission of trust consumer protection and impact.
- Explore opportunities that strengthen ESG positioning and social impact.
- Support initiatives that may attract grants donors or development partners.
Risk Learning & Continuous Improvement
- Identify commercial operational and regulatory risks early.
- Learn fast from failures and iterate based on data and feedback.
- Document insights and create repeatable innovation frameworks.
Requirements
Required Experience & Background
- 7 years of experience in startups technology companies or innovation-driven environments.
- Founder co-founder or early-stage team experience in one or more businesses (strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated experience building or scaling tech products or digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of product development market validation and growth strategies.
- Experience operating in fast-paced ambiguous environments with limited structure.

Required Education:
