Responsibilities
- Conduct and interpret various imaging studies including X-rays CT scans and MRIs
- Collaborate with referring physicians to provide insights on imaging results
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in radiology
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Document findings accurately in patient records
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff and radiology technologists
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology techniques and technologies
- Maintain effective communication with patients to explain procedures and address concerns
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Radiology
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Connecticut
- Strong understanding of imaging techniques and protocols
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred
Level I Trauma & Stroke Center
Flexible Scheduling: Day night or swing shifts
Onsite or remote coverage options
Shifts available at multiple reputable facilities
Skillsets: Light IR diagnostic mammo cardiac or nuclear medicine
Board certification is required
Paid travel accommodations for onsite coverage
Workstations provided for remote coverage
