About Luma Labs
We are a new skincare startup based in Lahore. Our goal is simple: to create products that actually work for Pakistani skin and weather. We dont believe in guessing; we believe in testing and data. We are looking for a dedicated team member to help us build and verify our product line.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for testing our products managing feedback and ensuring quality. You will act as the bridge between our customers and our manufacturers. We need someone who understands the science of skincare but also understands what customers look for in a product.
Key Responsibilities
Product Testing & Quality Control: You will personally test samples from manufacturers to check for texture smell and stability (e.g. does it survive the heat). You will provide detailed feedback to the founders and manufacturers to improve the formula.
User Feedback Circles: You will organize testing groups using your own network of friends and family. You will collect their honest opinions to help us decide which products to launch.
Content & Education: You will appear in social media videos to educate our audience about ingredients and skin health in simple easy-to-understand language.
Market Research: You will keep track of local trends and identify problems with current products in the market that we can solve.
Requirements
Requirements
Female Candidate: As this role involves testing skincare and cosmetic products personally this is a requirement.
Education: A degree in Pharmacy (Pharm-D) or Chemistry is a strong plus and will be highly valued. However if you are a science student or simply have deep knowledge of skincare ingredients you are welcome to apply.
Social & Active: You should be comfortable meeting people visiting manufacturing facilities and being on camera.
Strong Learner: We are a startup so you will often need to learn new things quickly. We value curiosity and the ability to solve problems independently.
