About our client:
Our client is a global investment advisory firm focusing on long-term value creation through investment strategies. They work with a diverse group of institutional partners and pride themselves on their collaborative sustainable inclusive culture and performance.
What you will be doing:
- Act as the technical authority to define best practices and design principles for the entire BI system.
- Personally design and deliver complex dashboards reports and analytical data models.
- Coach and provide technical direction to BI Analysts while balancing this with individual delivery.
- Collaborate with developers to embed scalable and performant BI solutions within web applications.
- Convert business needs into trusted and scalable BI solutions.
What our client is looking for:
- 8 - 10 years in BI/analytics.
- Expert-level Power BI (preferred) or Tableau/Qlik including large-scale deployment.
- Advanced SQL (complex querying optimisation data validation) and strong analytical data modelling experience.
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT and ability to collaborate with data engineering.
- Advanced Excel (including Power Query); VBA is a bonus.
- Experience implementing data quality controls reporting standards and governance.
