What you will be doing:
- Assist with development in PHP Python and perform backend database work.
- Build and maintain APIs specifically using FastAPI.
- Debug issues refactor code improve performance and write clean readable well-structured code.
- Help implement new features based on requirements and occasionally research technical solutions libraries or best practices.
- Clearly communicate progress and ask pertinent questions when necessary.
What our client is looking for:
- Interest to work with PHP and/or Python and databases (MySQL PostgreSQL).
- Experience with and an understanding of REST APIs.
- Comfortable using Git for version control.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Basic DevOps or deployment experience.
- Familiarity with async programming and frameworks like FastAPI would be beneficial.
