Job Summary
The Mission Your clinical expertise is requested for a role that transcends the standard European hospital setting. We are recruiting a dedicated 1:1 nurse for an 80-year-old VIP principal aboard a private superyacht. This position offers a seamless transition from the canals of Amsterdam to the glamorous marinas of the French Riviera specifically anchoring in Antibes and Cannes. The itinerary then extends to the dramatic cliffs of Sicily (Taormina) and the volcanic beauty of the Aeolian Islands. Your primary duty is to ensure the principals health is meticulously managed while they enjoy the pinnacle of Mediterranean luxury.
The Team You will operate within a high-performance medical infrastructure. The department is led by a Lead British Doctor providing you with authoritative clinical governance and 24/7 support. You will collaborate with onboard Physiotherapists and a roster of Western-trained nurses ensuring you are part of a cohesive well-resourced team.
The Safety We believe that patient safety begins with nurse welfare. To prevent burnout we enforce a strict double-nurse shift system. This ensures you have consistent backup and guaranteed downtime to rest or explore the yachts prestigious destinations without compromising clinical vigilance.
The Process We have designed the recruitment process to be as efficient as possible. The entire initial screening and interview phase is conducted via a secure online platform allowing you to secure this contract from the Netherlands before deploying directly to the vessel.
Requirements
Requirements
Education: Western Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) / HBO-Verpleegkunde.
Experience: Minimum 4 years in Acute Care (ICU SEH or CCU).
Language: Native or C1 (Advanced) English fluency.
Licensure: Active BIG-register registration (or equivalent Western license).
