  • Improve real audit tax and advisory workflows

  • Stay relevant as the profession evolves

We dont believe in content that exists for marketing. Every piece must teach clarify or shift perspective.

Your job is to make sure that happens consistently.


Your Real Responsibility

You are not here to produce content.

You are here to:

  • Define whats worth saying

  • Decide how deeply it should be said

  • Ensure its said better than anyone else in the space

This role owns the intellectual backbone of Miles Masterclass.


What Youll Actually Do

Own the Content POV (Not Just the Calendar)

  • Define Miles point of view across AI accounting workflows and professional learning.

  • Decide which ideas deserve:

    • A blog

    • A deep-dive

    • A sales asset

    • Or no content at all

  • Build a content strategy that balances:

    • Thought leadership

    • Product clarity

    • Demand generation

    • Long-term credibility

  • Analyze competitor strategies and industry trends (EdTech CPA evolution) to ensure our content remains differentiated and ahead of the curve.


Write Content That Makes Professionals Think

Youll personally write and set the standard for:

  • Opinionated thought leadership articles

  • Deep explainers on AI in accounting

  • POV pieces on how firms should evolve

  • Strategic narratives not listicles alone

Produce whitepapers guides and strategic pieces that establish authority and drive organic growth (SEO) without sacrificing quality for keywords.

This is not SEO filler. This is I learned something new content.


Translate Complexity Without Dumbing It Down

  • Turn complex ideas (AI tools workflows compliance firm operations) into clear structured content.

  • Respect the intelligence of experienced professionals.

  • Avoid buzzwords unless they genuinely add meaning.

If a sentence doesnt add clarity it doesnt survive.


Shape Product & Website Narratives

  • Suggest how Miles is explained on:

    • Website pages

    • Program descriptions

    • Landing pages

    • Sales decks

  • Collaborate with sales to create high-value assets - pitch decks one-pagers and case studies - that align with the brand narrative.

  • Translate what we offer into why it matters.

  • Ensure consistency of voice across every surface.


Short-Form Still Needs Thinking

Write crisp intelligent copy for:

  • Email newsletters

  • Campaigns

  • Product launches

  • Social narratives (in partnership with the social team)

Ensure short-form content ladders up to larger ideas.


Collaborate But Own the Outcome

Work closely with:

  • Founders

  • SMEs

  • Product and curriculum teams

  • Sales and growth teams

Extract raw insights and shape them into structured narratives.

Own clarity consistency and final quality end to end.


Who This Role Is For

Youll thrive here if you:

  • Have 35 years of experience writing content for B2B SaaS fintech edtech or professional services.

  • Can show strong long-form writing samples (this is non-negotiable).

  • Enjoy thinking deeply before writing quickly.

  • Can explain complex ideas without sounding academic or preachy.

  • Understand SEO/GEO and know how to build topic clusters and drive traffic without compromising the human element.

  • Use AI tools to accelerate thinking not replace it.

  • Take pride in craft structure and clarity.
