BFG is looking for a Content Manager & Client Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to own all content and client-facing communications across the customer journeyfrom first website visit to long-term client retention.
This role is responsible for creating managing and distributing content that:
Generates qualified leads
Educates prospects
Builds trust with clients
Increases client lifetime value (LTV)
This is a core foundational role and one of the first marketing hires at BFG.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Ownership (Primary)
Own and manage all website content:
Service pages
Landing pages
Blog posts
Educational resources
Maintain a monthly content calendar
Ensure consistent BFG brand voice (professional trustworthy CPA-led)
Coordinate with:
UX/UI designers
Website developers
Funnel builder
2. Client Lifecycle Marketing
Own client-facing communications including:
Monthly client newsletters
Tax deadline reminders
Educational email campaigns
Service update announcements
Design nurture sequences for:
New leads
New clients
Existing clients (upsell/cross-sell)
Work closely with CRM & Marketing Ops to:
Define email flows
Segment audiences
Improve engagement and retention
3. Lead Nurture & Email Marketing
Write and manage:
Lead nurture email sequences
Educational drip campaigns
Webinar follow-ups (future)
Optimize subject lines CTAs and messaging
Focus on quality conversations not vanity metrics
4. SEO & Content Optimization (With Support)
Collaborate with a fractional SEO specialist
Implement on-page SEO best practices:
Headings
Internal linking
Keyword placement
Optimize content for search intent not keyword stuffing
5. Performance Tracking & Collaboration
Track content and email performance:
Engagement
Conversions
Retention indicators
Collaborate with:
Paid Ads Specialist (for messaging alignment)
Cold Email Specialist (for offer consistency)
Continuously improve messaging based on feedback and results
What You Will NOT Be Responsible For
Paid ads execution
CRM automation setup (handled by Marketing Ops)
Graphic design (handled by freelancers)
SEO strategy ownership
