Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety Officer to join our dynamic construction team in Vasundhara Ghaziabad. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with safety regulations minimizing workplace hazards and promoting a culture of safety across all project sites. The Safety Officer will be responsible for conducting regular site inspections developing safety protocols training personnel and managing incident reports. With a strong foundation in technical safety practices and project execution this professional will play a pivotal role in safeguarding personnel assets and project timelines. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with proactive risk management skills to ensure seamless project delivery in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine safety audits and site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA local safety codes and company policies.
Develop implement and maintain comprehensive safety programs and emergency response plans tailored to construction project needs.
Provide technical support and guidance to site supervisors and workers on safe work practices PPE usage and equipment handling.
Investigate and document safety incidents near misses and accidents; lead root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate and deliver safety training sessions toolbox talks and awareness campaigns for all project personnel.
Utilize AutoCAD to design and update safety layouts signage and site access plans for optimal safety and workflow efficiency.
Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety considerations into project planning scheduling and execution.
Troubleshoot safety-related issues on-site including equipment malfunctions and procedural gaps and implement immediate solutions.
Maintain detailed safety records reports and documentation for internal audits and regulatory compliance.
Support welding operations by ensuring adherence to safety standards including fire prevention ventilation and electrical safety protocols.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Safety Engineering Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
2 years of proven experience in construction safety management preferably on large-scale infrastructure or building projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating safety layouts site plans and hazard mapping.
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting safety and operational issues on active construction sites.
Hands-on knowledge of welding safety protocols including arc welding gas welding and associated risk controls.
Strong understanding of project management principles and ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Excellent communication leadership and training skills to effectively engage diverse workforces.
Familiarity with Indian safety regulations (BIS Factories Act OSHA standards) and experience with compliance documentation.
Ability to work independently in fast-paced high-risk environments while maintaining attention to detail.
Willingness to travel to multiple project sites within Ghaziabad and surrounding areas.
