JOB DESCRIPTION: Virtual Assistant - Bookkeeping with Administrative Assistance
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Bookkeeper with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with XERO to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting
principles and a proven track record in using XERO software. This role will be responsible for handling various bookkeeping tasks including but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
Financial Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into the XERO accounting system.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes including invoice processing payment approvals and collections.
Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Payroll Processing: Process payroll accurately and timely including calculating taxes and
deductions.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports such as income statements and balance sheets.
General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger and ensure its accuracy.
Compliance: Adhere to all relevant accounting and tax regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with XERO.
Familiar with Australia accounting
Good communication skills
Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
