Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Long-Term Science Substitute Teacher for grades 612. This role provides consistent classroom placement and instructional continuity not day-to-day coverage.
Responsibilities:
Teach middle and high school Science (General Science Biology Chemistry Physics or Integrated Science)
Plan lessons grade assignments and assess student progress
Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment
Use instructional technology and learning management systems
Collaborate with school staff throughout the assignment
Requirements
Bachelors degree (Science or STEM field preferred)
Valid California credential (Sub Permit or Single Subject Science)
Experience with lesson planning and grading
Current TB clearance and Live Scan
Strong classroom management skills
Required Skills:
Science content knowledge (middle & high school level) Lesson planning and instructional design Grading assessment and progress monitoring Classroom management and student engagement
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree minimum
