Job Summary
Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant Long Term Care (CNA)
Location: Honolulu Hawaii
Job Type: Contract
Position Urgency: Normal
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 40 hours/week must work every weekend; rotating shifts
We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a Long Term Care setting in Honolulu Hawaii. The CNA will provide hands-on support assist residents with daily living needs and ensure patient safety and comfort. This role requires reliability strong teamwork and the ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and assist residents with ADLs (bathing dressing grooming toileting mobility).
- Measure and record vital signs intake/output and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
- Support residents with mobility devices transfers and safety protocols.
- Assist with meal service feeding hydration and dietary needs.
- Maintain cleanliness of resident areas and follow infection control protocols.
- Accurately document care in the facilitys EMR system.
- Work collaboratively with RNs LPNs and other care team members to support resident well-being.
- Follow facility policies procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- 40 hours per week
- Must work every weekend
- Rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights may apply depending on facility assignment)
- Holiday coverage required (holiday pay rules vary by shift start time)
- Must be certified via Prometric Hawaii before starting the contract.
- Active Hawaii CNA certification required by assignment start date.
- Bilingual not required.
- Minimum 4 years of CNA experience preferably in Long Term Care.
- Strong understanding of LTC workflows safety measures and resident-centered care.
- Ability to work weekends and rotating schedules without restrictions.
- Experience using EMRs preferred; PointClickCare experience a plus.
