Key Responsibilities:

The Project Coordinator Innovation Challenge will coordinate the design implementation monitoring and learning of the FY25 Innovation Challenge initiatives ensuring that innovation projects are powered by child results CVA data and community-led insights.
The role will support project teams to translate evidence into practical scalable and fundable innovations that address priority child vulnerabilities in malnutrition food security education in emergencies sanitation and poverty reduction. The Coordinator will ensure strong alignment with World Vision Lankas programming evidence frameworks safeguarding standards and GC expectations

Major Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination of project activities with research partners App development Implementation partners.
  • Coordinate the collection of retrospective anthropometric behavioral and socioeconomic data required to train the initial AI model ensuring data integrity and completeness
  • User Training & Capacity Building: Design and deliver training for field staff (e.g. PHMs MSGs development facilitators) on using the mobile application
  • Leading the timely and effective discussions with relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain a very good rapport with the partners and professionally communicate all issues and challenges that affect the project implementation and quality of delivery.
  • Mobilize technical human financial resources and assist stakeholders and community partners to identify and mobilize community resources needed for project implementation
  • Coordinate engagement with internal stakeholders across program operations advocacy and technical units.
  • Support collaboration with external partners including research institutions technology partners NGOs and global team.
  • Support teams to assess scale potential sustainability pathways and system integration opportunities.
  • Assist in identifying donor alignment and external funding opportunities.


Required qualifications experience & competencies

  • Bachelors degree in public health Nutrition Education & Social Sciences related field.
  • Masters degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 23 years of experience in project coordination program implementation innovation or research-linked programming.
  • Strong understanding of IMAM/CMAM (Integrated/Community-Based Management of Acute Malnutrition) protocols and anthropometric indicators
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Working knowledge of Sinhala and/or Tamil is an asset.
