FIXED TERM 1 YEAR CONTRACT FOR A MATERNITY COVER

Job Summary:
The Multi-Property Learning & Development Manager is responsible for the design delivery and continuous improvement of learning and development programs across the Perth multi-property cluster. The role ensures all training initiatives are strategically aligned to Marriotts brand standards service culture and business priorities. Acting as a subject-matter expert and trusted advisor to leaders this role identifies capability gaps translates operational and associates needs into impactful learning solutions and measures training effectiveness to ensure a return on investment. Training programs span brand service leadership development compliance functional capability and talent pipeline initiatives.


As an Individual Contributor the L&D Manager is expected to demonstrate leadership through influence collaboration and personal accountability while embodying Marriotts Enterprise Leadership Behaviours: Curious Courageous Connected. Additionally the L&D Manager serves as a custodian of the company culture
and is required to attend events and activities outside of regular business hours.


Candidate Profile:
Essential
Bachelors degree in Learning & Development Human Resources Education Business Hospitality or related discipline
OR
Equivalent experience in Learning & Development within a hospitality or customer-centric environment preferred
Certificate IV or Diploma in Training & Assessment (TAE)
Experience delivering leadership and service-based training
Familiarity with Marriott learning systems (e.g. DLZ)


Experience
Minimum 23 years experience in Training / Learning & Development ideally within hospitality
Demonstrated experience in:
o Training facilitation and program design
o Leadership and capability development
o Compliance training management
o Training needs analysis and evaluation
