Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Employees are expected to work consistently to demonstrate the mission vision and core values of the organization.
The IT Security Intern will assist with Cybersecurity and/or Information Security strategic projects related to but not limited to the following:
- Standardizing templates for policy standard and procedures documentation
- Assist with security operations and platforms with focus on CrowdStrike and Microsoft.
- Assist with Security related risk remediation efforts
- Assist with governance risk and compliance (GRC)
- Assist with security compliance SharePoint security dashboards
- Assist in mapping control statements between NIST 800-171 HIPAA Security Rule PCI-DSS CMMC MAR etc.

Genuine interest in the health care industry
This internship will begin in late May and the duration of the internship program is 12 weeks. Please note that this is a hybrid working arrangement; some work will be done in our Portland offices and some remotely. Interns must live in Maine throughout the 12-week program.
