Job Title: Security Architect

Location: Remote - US

Employment Type: Contract

Pay Range: $80/hr - 100/hr

- Key Responsibilities

Security Architecture Leadership

Define and document security functional and non-functional requirements for enterprise solutions.
Develop and implement security architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles IAM/CIAM PAM and other cybersecurity initiatives.
Lead evaluations and recommendations for security platforms (e.g. SIEM ID Proofing secrets management).
Author and maintain security standards reference architectures patterns and guidelines.

Security Architecture

Define global deployment architecture for enterprise-wide SaaS platforms and own onboarding strategies.
Develop architecture frameworks for integrating security across business data application and technology domains.
Drive adoption of patterns and standards across solution roadmaps.
Review and approve architecture solutions through governance processes to ensure strategic alignment and minimize technical debt.

Innovation & Advisory

Research emerging technologies (AI/ML IoT edge computing) and assess security implications.
Act as a subject matter expert for advisory review and approval of designs and configurations.
Provide mentorship to junior architects and foster a mature DevSecOps culture.

Define the global deployment architecture of the enterprise-wide SaaS based CIAM IAM and PAM platforms and own the architecture roadmap capabilities and the application onboarding strategy and patterns.
Develop and implement security architectures that align with business goals objectives and policies.
Partner with global security division to develop architecture frameworks for cybersecurity initiatives (e.g. Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) PAM IAM Internal Threat etc.) defining how security integrates across business data application and technology domains.
Drive technical evaluations and decision recommendations around various security platforms such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) ID Proofing etc.
Provide development and maturation around threat modeling and risk assessment frameworks.
Define strategies reference architecture standards and architecture roadmaps for key security capabilities such as secrets management AI/ML IoT and edge computing.
Review and approve architecture solutions via EA governance to ensure strategic alignment avoidance of tech debt and alignment to architecture principles.
Collaborate with security architects and the cloud team on evaluations of security implication of adopting new technologies.
Provide business friendly language for complex security architecture concepts.

- Required Qualifications

Respected experience in an architecture role supporting security architecture in sophisticated enterprise environments experiences with ZTA TOGAF CISSP CSM (one or more)
Experience with the design and development of IAM/CIAM SIEM ID Proofing platforms
Experience with cloud security architecture
Experience with DevSecOps technologies processes and practices
Proficient with architecture modeling using industry standard notation languages (Archimate)
Experience with drafting and institutionalizing architecture patterns and architecture standards
Experience with software application development in multiple programming languages and technology platforms
Experience with application design and development on one or more cloud platforms
Basic business understanding of financial services and security solutions.
