Department Overview:

The IT Solutions Design Specialist leads the creation of a comprehensive end-to-end detailed solution with overall accountability for the technical design and delivery of the System Design Specification (SDS) and is largely focused on large-scale complex or enterprise projects. May also be accountable for complex programming / coding.

Depth & Scope:

• Provides technical expertise and guidance to others in a lead capacity and works autonomously
• Expert knowledge of the business the broader organization technical environment processes procedures tools and other relevant technology areas (e.g. Architecture Infrastructure Security etc.) from a design / support / solutions perspective
• Primary subject matter expert in multiple areas and consults with clients/or project teams with respect to all aspects of research analysis design hardware / software support and/or development of technical solutions and/or testing
• Works autonomously and leads on a diverse range of activities (e.g. design support of technical business solutions) and is relied upon to coach / educate and monitor the work of others
• Acts as an internal expert resource in the exchange of technical information for project teams and provides technical insight and recommendations to the business and/or outside vendors
• Typically reports to a Senior IT Development Manager or higher

Education & Experience:

• Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
• Graduate degree preferred
• 7 years related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 Years of experience with JAVA J2EE Web/Rest Services Development
• 5 Years of experience Javascript Python Spring Security Spring Boot Spring Framework NodeJS React Angular
• 5 years of experience with Bitbucket GIT GitHub Maven Jenkins JIRA
• 5 Years of experience of Real time Data Ingestion Handling Large volume of Data
• 5 Years of Experience with Cloud Services on Azure Docker Kubernetes GitHub Co-Pilot SonarQube Jscript Splunk CI-CD Pipeline framework
• 3 Years of experience in Agile Methodology
• Prior Banking or Financial Industry
• Database experience with NoSQL database is strong plus
