Mōtetūnga About the Role

As a Data Insights Adviseryoullwork alongside other researchers to turn data into visualfirst products such as dashboards maps and short data supported and mentored by a Senior Data Insights Adviser giving you space to develop your skills while contributing meaningfully from day one.

Most of our work is delivered in days or weeks not months. That meansyoullneed to be comfortable adapting quickly prioritising work and moving between tasks as new questions arise.

Ngāhaepapamatua Key Responsibilities

Translate complex questions into clear impartial data insights
Design and deliver dashboards maps and short data products fornon-technicalaudiences
Work closely with researchers to support responsive research requests often to tight deadlines
Build andmaintainreusable templates datasets and simple data tools
Learn and experiment with automation AI and new ways of working to improve how we deliver insights
Collaborate across a large multidisciplinary team as well as in smaller project groups

Your experience might include:

A few years experience working with data insights analysis or research
Experience turning data into clear practical outputs for decision makers
Hands on experience with tools such as Excel Power BI ArcGIS or similar or a strong aptitude for learning them
Examples of problemsolvingnot just technical delivery
Experience working to deadlines and juggling multiple priorities
A relevant tertiary qualification
