We are currently seeking an experienced GP orSpecialty Doctor with a passion for minor surgical procedures to support the delivery of our community minor surgery service acrossLocation. About the Role
CHEC is looking to recruit an experienced clinician to join our team and support the continued growth of our community minor surgery services. The successful candidate will be able to workindependently performing a range of minor surgical procedures including excisions biopsies cyst removals and suturing.
Our service provides patients with rapid access to specialist care in a community setting including pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up whilemaintaininghigh standardsof safety and infection control.
We welcome applications from:
GPs with a specialist interest in minor surgery
AccreditedGPwERsorGPwSIin Dermatology who perform minor surgery
Hospital-based doctors with relevant specialty training in Dermatology General Surgery or Plastic Surgery
Essential requirements:
Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
Evidence of relevant specialty training
Proven experience performing minor surgical procedures independently
Proficiencyin local anaesthesia techniques and wound closure
