Job Summary
Were on the hunt for a Senior Data Analyst to join the Liquidity team in London.
Youll be part of a team that fundamentally powers the Wise product and mission!
What youll be doing:
Youll be one of the owners of Liquiditys core data models ensuring data and analytics assets are accurate comprehensive discoverable and leveraged by finance and product teams
Youll derive actionable insights from Treasurys data to inform product decisions from adjusting pricing on a product to reflect cost more accurately to designing controls for risk mitigation in stressed scenarios
Youll work with other analysts data scientists and engineers to improve the Tech and processes that power liquidity management at Wise
Youll partner with Product Managers Controllers and other Analysts to set KPIs and KRIs for Liquidity and monitor the impact of new product features on risk and liquidity availability
Youll need to build relationships with teams across the company from finance and engineering to our customer support operations design and more
Who you are:
Advanced SQL skills
Python/R for data manipulation and analysis
Experience building data pipelines
Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate business requests into clear analytical problems
Data visualisation and storytelling ability
Understanding of stats and statistical modelling (measures of central tendency understanding of variance and testing some regression modelling)
3-5 years experience in similar roles
Ability to work autonomously and partner with stakeholders
Proactive individual who drives continuous improvement
Desirable:
DBT experience
Familiarity with ledgers or other financial data
Experience deploying code changes via Git-based workflows
