Subject to formal establishment variation a vacancy may arise for a Corporal (Any Profession; however preference will be given to People Ops (People Specialist) to serve as a JNCO Reserve Support 1 on the Southern England & Wales Reserve Support Wing (SE&W RSW)) on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 24 August 2026 (or earlier/later subject to candidate status).
The Post:
The mission of SE&W RSW is to deliver motivated and inspired RAF reservists to Royal Auxiliary Air Force (RAuxAF) squadrons ready to embark on Phase 2 training and ultimately deliver operational output for the RAF.
Reporting to the SNCO IC Rec (IC Pillar) the JNCO Reserve Support 1 is a vital member of the SE&W RSW team who work collectively and collaboratively to deliver our mission through a range of activities to attract and recruit candidates deliver Phase 1 training and other tasks to guide mentor and support people on their journey into the RAuxAF.
The post will primarily be based at RAF Brize Norton. To support the delivery of SE&W RSWs core outputs the role may require occasional travel overnight stays and weekend work.
Given the nature of the role other remote working options are available and consideration given subject to agreement at interview and with the post sponsor.
