Our client is a well-established contract manufacturing organisation specialising in electronics manufacturing services and harnessing solutions. The business supports a diverse client base across highly regulated and technology-driven sectors delivering scalable high-quality manufacturing solutions through innovation precision and strong customer partnerships
They are seeking a driven and commercially astute Sales Representative to play a key role in expanding their customer base driving new business and supporting sustained revenue growth. This role is ideally suited to a sales professionals who can work in a remote capacity with a strong understanding of electronics manufacturing and a passion for solution-based selling
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieve agreed new business and sales growth targets aligned to company objectives
- Identify prospect and develop new customers within the electronics manufacturing and harnessing sector
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation and RFQs through to quotation negotiation and order conversion
- Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships to drive repeat and sustainable business
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities customer needs and competitor activity
- Collaborate closely with internal production engineering and quality teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and met
- Prepare and deliver professional proposals presentations and quotations tailored to client needs
- Maintain high conversion rates through disciplined follow-up on quotations and client engagements
- Attend industry events trade shows and client meetings to enhance market presence and brand visibility
- Maintain accurate CRM records sales reports forecasts and pipeline updates for management reporting
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 57 years experience in sales business development or account management within electronics manufacturing or a related technical industry
- Strong understanding of electronics components harnessing and contract manufacturing processes
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding new business sales targets
- Ability to identify opportunities and convert leads into long-term customer relationships
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills
- Strong analytical ability with sound commercial judgement
- Proficiency in CRM systems and standard business software
- Valid drivers licence with willingness to travel as required
Salary: Market related with performance based incentive
