We are looking for an experienced Stress Engineer to join our aerospace engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing detailed structural analyses on aircraft components and assemblies ensuring full compliance with airworthiness requirements and industry standards. You will collaborate closely with design manufacturing and certification teams throughout the development and qualification phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform static fatigue damage tolerance and dynamic analyses on metallic and composite aircraft structures.
- Develop validate and optimize structural solutions in collaboration with design engineering teams.
- Build and run Finite Element Models (FEM) using industrystandard aerospace tools.
- Prepare clear detailed analysis reports for design reviews certification activities and regulatory authorities (e.g. EASA FAA).
- Support structural testing (static fatigue vibration) including test planning instrumentation definition and correlation of analysis results with test data.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards material specifications and airworthiness regulations.
- Provide technical support throughout manufacturing production and inservice phases.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in stress analysis within the aerospace industry.
- Strong proficiency with FEA software such as Nastran Patran Abaqus HyperMesh ANSYS or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of metallic and composite structural behavior airframe design principles and load paths.
- Strong skills in classical stress analysis and hand calculations.
- Ability to read and interpret aerospace engineering drawings CAD models and technical documentation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
