We are seeking a high-calibre Senior Associate to join our Sydney Funds & Investment Management practice advising the establishment and offering of private funds including advising managers on the structuring marketing and ongoing management of such funds.
This role is well suited to a corporate lawyer with 6 - 9 years practice experience currently operating at a top-tier firm with strong technical foundations in funds and the confidence to take ownership of complex matters manage client relationships and play an active role in team development and growth.
Qualifications :
- 69 years post-qualification experience in investment funds or funds-focused corporate work
- Australian qualified preferred other commonlaw qualified candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
- Trained and/or practising at a top-tier or international law firm with strong exposure to sophisticated funds work
- Demonstrated experience advising fund managers and institutional clients
- Strong drafting skills and commercial judgment with the ability to run matters day-to-day
- Confident communicator with a collaborative working style
- Interest in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to a growing practice
