Our Client a Karachi based company seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and potential NFR opportunities. Evaluate new business models and recommend viable options for NFR expansion.
- Plan and oversee the remodeling of NFR facilities ensuring alignment with brand standards.
- Own P&L of company operated convenience stores and oversee daily operations independently drive profitability manage working capital optimize inventory and staffing and deliver excellent customer experience
- Define and implement standards (visual merchandising store layout product display cleanliness service levels) to ensure all C-stores meet perfect store benchmarks.
- Conduct regular audits and use KPIs to monitor compliance. Develop action plans to close gaps.
- Track analyze and report financial performance including sales figures gross margins cost control shrinkage and inventory value.
- Plan and implement promotional campaigns in collaboration with merchandising partners pricing strategies and local store marketing activities to drive sales grow
- Develop and manage own distribution system(s) for product(s) delivery to C-stores.
- Assess feasibility of franchising convenience store model in target markets.
- Develop franchising strategies including models partner selection support systems legal / regulatory compliance.
- Set and track performance targets of convenience retailing business against sales growth margin improvement and cost metrics.
- Assist Head of NFR to undertake any other task or function as maybe desired by the management.
Education
- Minimum 16 years of education preferably Masters from a renowned and HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder institution.
Experience
- Minimum 6 - 8 years of professional experience in retail management (convenience store business/ hypermarkets/ fashion retail) with at least 2 - 6 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success managing working capital budget controls and financial performance in a retail setting
- Prior experience handling inventory planning vendor relationships and customer service initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and supplier negotiation skills.
- Results-driven with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Age
- The candidate should preferably be not more than 40 years of age as of the last date of submission of application.
