Job Summary

Position Title : Senior Finance Executive (Permanent)

Budget : up to RM6000 (Basic)

Location : Ayer Keroh Melaka

Report to : Finance Manager
Subordinate : 3 (Executive Level)

Finance Team Size: 18 (expanding)

Working Hours: Fully in Office (No WFH arrangement)

Monday to Wednesday: 8am to 5pm (1 hour break)
Thursday : 8am to 6pm (1 hour break)
Friday : 8am to 5.30pm (1.5 hours break due to Friday prayers)

Job Scope:

Responsible for leading and reviewing subordinates work and assist Finance Manager in overall financial and internal control activities.
Provide analysis of financial performance.
In-charge of preparing yearly audited report and tax computation compilation
Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly and quarterly Management and Accounting Reporting
Liaise with tax agents auditors bankers and other authorities including Bank Negara Malaysia Custom and etc
Leading improvements projects
Other ad-hoc jobs and projects assigned.

Requirements:

Candidate must at least a Degree holder in Accounting field or equivalent
Preferably candidates with relevant working experience in multinational company or audit firms and with minimum 3 to 4 years working experience.
Strong discipline analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to work under stress and meet tight deadline set.
Proficient in Microsoft office application and MRP accounting system i.e. SAP is with added advantage
Ability to read and write Chinese/Japanese is with added advantage.

Additional requirement:

Experience in financial reporting drafting and preparing audited report good in audit and internal control aspect analysis. Added advantage - knowledge in terms of transfer pricing documents J-SOX Tax computation knowledge.
