About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on finance professional to lead end-to-end finance operations. This role offers an opportunity to manage budgeting MIS invoicing and financial reporting while leading a team and providing strategic financial insights to senior management. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset ownership of finance operations and the ability to optimize processes and improve team efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Finance Operations & Reporting
- End-to-end finance management: budgeting MIS invoicing and financial reporting.
- Track actual vs. planned funding cash flow and cost centers to ensure alignment with organizational strategy.
- Funds planning and management including timely submission of financial reports to senior management.
- Supervise accounts liaise with banks and manage vendor payments and procurement across verticals.
- Develop actionable insights from data analysis budgeting analysis and financial metrics.
2. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead mentor and manage a finance team of 67 people.
- Build efficiency in finance processes and ensure timely accurate reporting.
- Support senior management with financial decision-making and strategic focus.
3. Governance & Compliance
- Liaise with auditors legal counsel and company secretary to ensure compliance with corporate governance and statutory requirements.
- Ensure all policies internal controls and processes are maintained with clean internal audit reports.
- Manage contracts grant compliance and due diligence processes as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) CA-Inter or ICWA.
- Minimum of 10 years of senior management experience in finance either in corporate or non-profit sectors.
- Strong analytical skills attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Hands-on and self-starter: able to manage finance operations independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and ability to relate to multicultural teams.
- Experience in compliance auditing grant management and process optimization.
- Willingness to travel frequently on short notice.
