RQ10018 - Software Developer - Junior ( C# .NET / XML / Angular)

Toronto Ontario (onsite)

Contract (1 year with high possibility of extension)

Responsibilities

Required to translate technical systems specifications into working tested applications.

This includes:

• developing detailed programming specifications
• writing and/or generating code o compiling data-driven programs maintaining and conducting unit tests.

Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages including technical assistance in implementation conversion and migrations.

The resources will also support CSC release and infrastructure solutions support sustainment activities urgent priorities changing needs or time-sensitive infrastructure upgrades or other sustainment activities supporting any CSC platforms overseen by the Cluster where annual work is required.

Experience eliciting and documenting information from diverse business area stakeholders and subject matter experts

Desirable Skills

Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications

Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies

Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles concepts policies and practices

Experience with middleware and gateways

Experience reviewing analyzing and modifying product installation scripts including encoding testing debugging

Ability to provide post-implementation support and resolve any post-implementation technical issues

Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project team

Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards Ability to provide user and system documentation as required

Additional Skills for Oracle Software Developer:

Experience in conducting impact assessments on Oracle E-Business application customizations and extensions.

Strong conversion experience in Account Receivable Collection modules

Strong programming skills in Oracle database PL/SQL SQL XML Unix shell scripts and Oracle Data Integrator

Proved business knowledge of General Ledger Accounts Receivable Collections Accounts Payable and Inventory Modules of Oracle E-Business

Great knowledge of Oracle E-Business table structure related to GL AR Collections AP INV and FND

Strong knowledge of SQL tuning and using partition tables

Demonstrated experience and understanding of data warehouse ETL methodologies and OBIEE

Demonstrated work experience on Java and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) will be a great asset

Strong verbal and written communication skills and leadership abilities to be able to oversee the quality assurance of the project from technical perspective

Must Have:

• Experience coding in C# .NET Framework 4.8 or later.
• Experience with XML
• Experience with Oracle 19c and PL/SQL
• Experience working with MS Azure DevOps using GIT as version control and YAML pipelines
• Experience developing systems using client-side libraries: Bootstrap AngularJS Angular (v17 including Typescript RXJS NGRX Lodash Material) JQuery JavaScript HTML5/CSS3.
