Director of Strategic Partnerships OEM & Embedded AI

We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing AI infrastructure company that provides a high-performance vector database powering modern AI applications including semantic search RAG systems and recommendation engines.
This is a strategic high-impact role focused on building OEM and embedded technology partnerships with major software platforms SaaS companies and system integrators.
About the Role
We are seeking a senior commercial leader to build and scale the OEM and Embedded AI partnership business.
This role goes beyond traditional channel salesit focuses on structuring deep technology partnerships where the companys vector search technology becomes embedded inside partner products.
You will work closely with Product Engineering and Solutions teams to design and close complex partnerships that drive long-term high-value revenue.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop strategic OEM and embedded technology partnerships

Negotiate and structure white-label licensing and technology-integration agreements

Work with product and engineering teams to support technical validation and integration planning

Engage enterprise SaaS companies ISVs developer platforms and system integrators
-
Build long-term strategic alliances and manage complex multi-stakeholder deal cycles
-
Develop pricing and commercial models suitable for high-volume distribution

Help partners design AI-driven features such as semantic search recommendation systems and RAG workflows

Contribute to strategic planning around product positioning and ecosystem growth
Requirements

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City

Experience selling or managing:
-
OEM or embedded technology
-
White-label or licensing agreements

Developer tools databases middleware or infrastructure platforms

Strong technical understanding of:

APIs and system architecture
-
Databases or distributed systems
-
Modern AI stack (LLMs embeddings RAG vector search)

Experience managing complex enterprise deals with multiple stakeholders

Ability to collaborate with technical teams during solution design and proof-of-concept phases
-
Strong commercial and negotiation skills
Preferred Background

Experience selling DevTools databases or cloud infrastructure to software companies

Background in solutions architecture technical sales or product strategy

Existing relationships with SaaS or developer platform companies

Product-oriented mindset and ability to help partners design new solutions
