What will you be doing
As a manager in the category you will be responsible to plan and direct operational commercial and human efforts to achieve commercial goals with industry clients. For that the Manager will be responsible to lead the team to be continuously developing market insights to prospect for new clients/markets to grow business relationships and to drive client satisfaction aiming retention and upsells.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive Client Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client relationships by aligning Circanas data and software solutions with their strategic goals.
- Deliver Insight-Led Solutions: Translate complex data into actionable insights that help clients make informed decisions and achieve measurable outcomes.
- Manage the Sales Cycle: Lead end-to-end sales processes including prospecting needs assessment solution development negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams (e.g. Client Insights Product and Analytics) to deliver integrated solutions and ensure client success.
- Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations including decision-makers and influencers.
- Utilize Sales Tools and Platforms: Leverage Circanas proprietary platforms (e.g. Unify Liquid Data Intelligence Suite) to support client engagements and solution delivery.
- Achieve Revenue Targets: Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals through disciplined pipeline management and strategic account planning.
- Champion Client Success: Ensure client satisfaction by proactively addressing challenges identifying growth opportunities and delivering consistent value.
- Advanced Analytic Skills: Demonstrated ability to conceive manage and deliver fact-based analyses with a focus on consumer solutions providing clients with clear actionable insights to inform strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Economics Engineering Communications or a related field.
- 03 years of experience in business insights analytics category management commercial planning customer success research or consultative sales. Experience with consumer goods retail or dataâdriven environments is a plus (including internships)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Word.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Ability to travel (typically 1020%) when required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to deliver cohesive concise stories using data.
- Ability to synthesize quantitative data into clear actionable insights.
- Strong organization and timeâmanagement abilities; comfortable handling multiple priorities.
- Curious proactive selfâstarter mentality with a desire to learn and develop.
- High commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Strong presentation skills and confidence addressing individuals and groups.
