Job Summary
Job DescriptionA position for a full-time School Adjustment Counselor/School Counselor is needed to join a friendly dedicated and energetic team of professionals who provide Special Education counseling services in a (K-12) charter school in the Metro-Boston area for the rest of the 2025-2026 academic school year and right candidate will:Meet with students for individual and group counseling in person (remotely asneeded)Attend weekly team meetings and annual IEP/504 Plan meetingsAssist with Safety Assessments as neededConsult with parents/outside providers/school staffMaintain proper documentation/notes for each studentRequired education/ Required experience:PhD/MA in School Psychology Clinical Psychology LICSW or LMHCThe right candidate should:Demonstrate excellent writing skills with timely turnaround of notesHave the ability to work independently and with othersHave an outgoing personality and possess high energyHave strong organizational and time management skillsHave the ability to present at IEP meetingsYou will be provided with peer supervision and training by the Counseling Department Supervisor.
